Toronto Zontians have a long history of service to their community. We typically select each project for a 3-year term of support and donate a minimum of $7,000 per year. Our recent fundraising efforts have included: the Annual Car Rally, Christmas Bake Sale, International Women’s Day Breakfast and Down East Night. Click on the links for fun photos and information. Starting in 2008, our local service project has been the South Asian Women’s Centre, a voluntary non-profit organization run by, and for, South Asian Women. Its purpose is to increase self awareness of South Asian Women and to empower them to develop their social and cultural potential. The Centre is a place where South Asian Women of all backgrounds and ages can access a variety of programs and services. For further information, visit: www.sawc.org |
